The version used is Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
Because not connected with the telephone network, this camera may not be as flexible smartphone or tablet in terms of connectivity.
However, owners should still be connected to the internet via WiFi and do things like save the image in storage cloud or upload images to social networking sites.
The camera is reportedly going to be able to access Google applications store Play over a WiFi network and running programs that are downloaded. There is also a GPS for location tagging facility, 3.5-inch screen, and zoom lens equivalent to 25-250 mm.
Information about the image sensor is unknown, but estimated to have about 16-megapixel resolution as the models of other new compact cameras from Nikon.
