Firmware updates for the Sony NEX-7, SLT models and E-mount lenses

Sony updated for many cameras and lenses, the firmware. The version 1.0.1 for the NEX-7 allows you to disable the movie record button, bracketing enables three shots and an exposure distance of 1, 2 or 3 EV and improves the automatic playback, image quality at wide-angle, and the indicator in the AF mode "Flexible Spot". For four E-mount lenses of the NEX system, there is a firmware update that allows the use of the hybrid autofocus and NEX NEX-5 R-6. In the Alpha system camera with fixed, teildurchlässigem mirror there for the same four models a new firmware: SLT-A37, SLT-A57, SLT-A65V and SLT-A77V.
The four affected E-mount lenses are the models E 18-55 mm 3.5-5.6 OSS (SEL-1855), E 18-200 mm 3.5-6.3 OSS (SEL18200), E 55-210 mm F4. 5-6.3 (SEL-55210) and E 24mm F1.8 Carl Zeiss Sonnar T *. The update can only be made if the appropriate lens is attached to a NEX-5R or NEX-6.
The SLT-A65V and SLT-A77V is the new version 1.06, for the Alpha SLT-A37 and SLT-A57 is the 1.03. The new features are the same for all four cameras. So now, the movie button will be disabled, so no more accidental starts recording a video. Furthermore, the new firmware data to automatically correct distortion, vignetting and chromatic aberration for the following lenses: 16-35 mm 2.8 ZA SSM Vario Sonnar T *, DT 30mm 2.8 Macro SAM, 35 mm 1.4 G, 50 mm 1.4, 24 -70 2.8 mm Vario-Sonnar T * ZA SSM, 28-75 mm 2.8 SAM, 70-200 mm and 70-400 mm 4-5.6 T 2.8 G SSM. Sony changes details on the Cyber-shot DSC-RX1

At Photokina 2012 Sony has announced the Cyber-shot RX1 probably the bravest precious Compact of the Year.
